EQUIPMENT WHEEL HOUR CALCULATION

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION:  Equipment Wheel Hour Calculation is used to calculate wheel hour cost and distribute it to equipment records.

 

 

 

To access:  Click on the Equipment module  then click the Equipment Wheel Hour Calculation menu item.   

 

The following window will appear:

 

 

 

Enter the Effective Date for the wheel hours you wish to calculate by either typing in the date or by using the Calendar button.

 

Enter the start date for your financial year into the Year Start Date field.

 

Click the OK button.  A confirmation window will appear.  Click OK and the equipment wheel hour calculation entries will be posted to your equipment wheel hour journal.  When the calculations are finished, a window will appear reporting how many entries were created and the total wheel hour costs calculated in the entries.  Click OK.  The results may be viewed by printing a Journal Transactions by the Source of Entry Report or by the equipment wheel hour journal in the General Ledger Post menu item.  The Source of Entry will be EWH (Equipment Wheel Hours).

 

Click on the X in the upper right corner of the window or click the Cancel button to close the window.
