LIST HELP

 

Various maintenance programs include a "List" button   that lists out the contents of the database in which you’re working. Clicking the List button brings up a "report" similar to the sample above, and gives you a number of choices.

 

Clicking OK when you have selected a line item closes this screen and returns you to the maintenance screen. The information for the item you clicked OK on will be displayed.

 

Clicking Options displays the following list:

Items in this list perform various functions. Probably the one you’ll use most often is the "As You Type" option. This is used in conjunction with the "Find" button (see below) and if selected, will automatically "jump" to the code you’re trying to locate.

 

Clicking Help displays this help file.

 

Clicking Cancel closes the List window and returns you to the maintenance screen. The information originally shown on the maintenance screen (before clicking the List button) will still be displayed.

 

Clicking Find opens a search box where you can type in the information you want to locate. If you have selected "As You Type" (see "Options" above), then as you enter the item’s information, the software will automatically move to the closest occurrence of the line you typed.
