Make Deposits
DESCRIPTION: Make Deposits allows you to group cash receipts and payments together to form a single deposit to your bank account.
To access: Click on the General Ledger module then click the Make Deposits menu item.

Enter the Deposit date either by typing the date or by using the Calendar button.
Select the Bank account to deposit into by using the drop down list.
All of the receipts that are available will be displayed in the Item to deposit list. Select the receipts you wish to group together by checking the box on that line. Then click the Make Deposit button. All of the selected receipts will be added together and a deposit entry will be made for the entered Deposit date. A success message window will appear showing how many receipts and the total amount of the deposit. Click OK.
Click on the X in the upper right corner of the window to close the window.
