UNDO DEPOSITS

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION:  Undo Deposits will remove a deposit from your financial institution and unmark the items that were deposited.

 

 

 

To access:  Click on the General Ledger module  then click on the Undo Deposits menu item.   

 

The following window will appear:

 

 

NOTE:  THIS WILL AFFECT YOUR BANK RECONCILIATION AMOUNTS AND CHECKS.

 

Select the deposit you wish to undo by clicking on that line.  To help select the proper deposit, click on the arrow (>) to see a listing of the transactions in that deposit.  Click on the Undo selected deposit button.  A confirmation window will appear:  Are you sure you want to undo deposit #?  (Showing the deposit number you selected to undo.)  Click Yes and the deposit will be undone.  A success message window will appear.  Click OK.

 

Click on the X in the upper right corner of the window to close the window.
